Door Policy
& Dress Code

A complete guide to passing the door selection. Learn what to wear and how to act to secure entry.

Mainstream & Premium Clubs

Dress Code: Smart Casual / Elegant
In top-tier venues, presentation matters immensely. Men should opt for clean shirts, elegant polos, or high-quality t-shirts, paired with well-fitted chinos or dark jeans. Clean sneakers are generally accepted, but heavy trainers or running shoes are a definite no. Shorts, flip-flops, and sports clothing (tracksuits) will guarantee a rejection at the door, regardless of the season.

Underground & Techno Venues

Dress Code: Alternative / All-Black
The techno scene completely flips the script. Arriving in a suit or a glittering dress to an underground bunker will likely make the selector assume you do not understand the culture. The unofficial uniform is all-black, industrial, vintage, or rave-inspired attire. The door policy here evaluates your "vibe" and knowledge of the DJ lineup rather than the brand of your shoes.

The Door Selection

  • Group Size matters: Large groups of males (more than 3 or 4) are often rejected to maintain an even gender ratio inside. It's highly recommended to split into smaller, mixed groups.
  • Sobriety: Security will outright deny entry to anyone overly intoxicated or causing a scene in the queue. Polish door staff are highly trained and rarely negotiate.
  • Table Reservations: Booking a VIP table bypasses most door policies and essentially guarantees entry for you and your guests, making it a popular choice for tourists seeking a seamless night out.
