Age Restrictions
The absolute rules on legal drinking age, entry requirements, and ID verification across Poland.
The Legal 18+ Rule
By law, the minimum age to purchase and consume alcohol in Poland is 18 years old. Consequently, almost every nightclub enforces a strict 18+ entry policy. There are practically zero "16+ club events" outside of dedicated high school prom venues, making adult-only environments the absolute industry standard.
ID Verification
Door staff and security are obligated to check IDs. Do not attempt to enter without a physical government-issued document (ID card, driving license, or passport). For locals, the official government app "mObywatel" is accepted, but foreigners must present physical proof. Photos of an ID on your phone will not be accepted.
Premium Clubs (21+)
Many high-end venues, especially in Warsaw (such as level 27, SEN), elevate the minimum age to 21+ on Fridays and Saturdays to curate a more mature, professional crowd. The 21+ restriction is rarely a legal mandate, but rather a venue policy enforced strictly by the door selector. Check the venue's social media before attending.
